Kada igle stimuli\u0161u odre\u0111ene ta\u010dke, one mogu uticati na nervni sistem i mozak, izazivaju\u0107i osloba\u0111anje endorfina i drugih hemikalija koje poma\u017eu u smanjenju boli.<\/p>\n<p>Studije snimanja mozga pokazale su da se tokom tretmana akupunkturom aktiviraju podru\u010dja povezana sa percepcijom boli i emocionalnom kontrolom.
