Fajon: Brussels is looking forward to demarcation

Brussels – Violence and incidents in Kosova may create difficulties in Brussels, when it comes to visa liberalization.

This is what Tanja Fajon, rapporteur for Kosova in the European Parliament said on the eve of Kosova Assembly vote on borderline demarcation.

According to Fajon, the demarcation can guarantee progress in the visa liberalization process, but this would happen only if there were positive reports on the demarcation from Prishtina.
“Let’s first see how does the vote on demarcation go. However, I believe that we will get positive results and this is all what we in Brussels expect. I do not want to speculate on visa liberalization in Kosova, this is something that goes step after step,” Fajon told RFE.
