Govt ready for debate on Brussels agreements
Pristina – Reaffirming its commitment to full transparency, the government shows its readiness for an open debate regarding each point of the agreements that were reached in Brussels.
“The Office of the Prime Minister has submitted today to the Assembly of Kosovo a request to inform members of the Assembly regarding the agreements reached on 25 August 2015 in Brussels. The agreements were reached in the framework of the dialogue for the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, facilitated by the EU and supported by the United States.
Office of the Prime Minister request to inform the Assembly at its first session regarding the agreement was submitted to the Assembly, together with the texts of all agreements, in three languages: Albanian, Serbian and English.
Reaffirming its commitment to full transparency, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, expresses its willingness to open debate and arguments for each point of the agreements reached in Brussels, as well as other important processes in Kosovo.
The Government of Kosovo considers that the recent agreements reached in Brussels, which are strongly supported by strategic partners of Kosovo, the US and the EU, are in full accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo and will strengthen the sovereignty and Euro-Atlantic integration of Kosovo, ” says a statement of Kosovo Government.
