In about 50% of the schools in Pristina, there should be interventions in terms of security.
This was made known by the security report carried out in the capital’s schools by the Directorate for Safety and Emergency, which showed that about 50% of the schools have security issues that need to be intervened.
And for this situation, the mayor of the capital, Përparim Rama, has invited the principals of all the capital’s schools to a meeting. together with the Kosovo Police, Fireworks and the directors of Education, Inspection, Capital Investments, Transformation, Mobility, Public Services, as well as Security and Emergencies.
“The purpose of this meeting is to review the security report in detail and immediately identify the concrete steps that must be taken. In this process, each director will take the responsibilities that belong to him according to his field, while part of the measures will to be addressed by the school managements themselves. Safety in schools is a shared institutional and social responsibility. Zero compromise when it comes to the safety of our children,” wrote Rama.
