The prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prishtina, Jeton Koca, has resigned. Meanwhile, his decision was approved with five votes in favor during the meeting of the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo.

The Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Dardan Vuniqi, expressed his gratitude for Koca’s contribution to the prosecutorial system in the country.

Special prosecutor Milot Krasniqi said that it is regrettable that a professional prosecutor has left the justice system.

It is known that Koca has resigned for personal reasons. as he has not agreed to make them public. He submitted his resignation on February 13.

Also during the meeting, the resignation of Elza Bajrami – Kastrati from the position of deputy chief prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina, after her appointment as a member of the KPK, according to the legal provisions in force.
