Kosovo, Serbia reach deal on ADR certificates recognition

The agreement will enter into force on April 25, 2016 and its implementation is guaranteed by the European Union as a mediator of the dialogue in Brussels.


With the EU mediation in Brussels and following marathon talks in a tense and heavy atmosphere, around 3:30 o o’clock after midnight, Kosovo and Serbia’s delegations respectively have reached an agreement on mutual recognition of ADR certificates for the transport of dangerous goods. The news was confirmed by Edita Tahiri, minister for dialogue, who noted that the agreement confirms that Serbia has recognized Kosovo in the field of transport of dangerous goods.

The agreement will enter into force on April 25, 2016 and its implementation is guaranteed by the European Union as a mediator of the dialogue in Brussels.
