Prishtina, 22 January – Bosnia has been added to the list of states whose citizens will need now visas to enter Kosovo, the government said in a press release on Wednesday.
Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are now the only former Yugoslav republics that have not recognised Kosovo’s independence.
Bosnia recognised Kosovo passports in March 2012, but Kosovo citizens who wish to travel to the country must still obtain a visa, costing 31 euro.
Until then, Kosovo nationals who wanted to travel to Bosnia had to obtain special travel permits using UN Mission in Kosovo ID papers./balkaninsight
