Marc Bernal is getting closer to renewing his contract with Barcelona until 2031.

The 19-year-old midfielder currently has a contract with the Catalans until June 2029, but the club wants to reward him for his performances and tie him to the team even longer.

Barcelona considers Bernal an important part of the project for the future. The club had renewed his contract until 2029 in September last year, with a release clause of 500 million euros.

Now, the new negotiations are in the final stages and it is expected that Bernal will continue his adventure at Camp Nou until 2031.
