More than 30,000 euros were seized in the car of a Serb in the north

The police units from the Bërnjak Border Police Station in cooperation with the Kosovo Customs, have identified a person who was in possession of undeclared monetary means.

The competent police unit stopped for control in the second line a suspected car with Serbian license plates, which was being driven by the Serbian male suspect, the police informs.

“During the control of the vehicle and persons (the driver of the vehicle and passenger), in the passenger’s bag were found euro currency in the total amount of €25,515, and dinars, the amount of which reaches the value of €4,813 (in total €30,328)”, the police announced.

“Regarding the case, procedural actions have been taken for further handling of the case by customs according to the legislation in force”, the announcement states.
