The price of oil in the retail market in Kosovo has reached up to 1.60 euros per liter this Monday.

According to the chairman of the Association of Oil Workers, Fadil Berjani, prices vary depending on the companies, where oil is sold from 1.53 to 1.60 euros per liter. Meanwhile, gasoline costs between 1.34 and 1.38 euros per liter.

Berjani has also announced that the price of wholesale oil is currently around 1.54 euros per liter.

The price of Brent crude oil reached almost 105 dollars per barrel, an increase of more than 40 percent since the start of the war with Iran.

The Ministry of Trade and The industry has set a ceiling price margin for oil derivatives, the increase of which in Kosovo took place a few days after the developments in the Middle East.

While, last week, the minister Mimoza Kusari-Lila said that in Kosovo there will be no price higher than 1.54 for a liter of oil.
