Raska
The search for human remains in a mass grave in Rudnice of Raska in Serbia will resume today.
These works were interrupted by the Serbian side last month, arguing that they haven`t enough funds.
This has been confirmed by chairman of the Government Commission on Missing Persons, Prenk Gjetaj yesterday in an interview for KosovaPress.
In this interview he spoke about the difficulties they are facing in relation to the Serbian side regarding a new agreement in which there will be changes regarding the handover of remains.
Gjetaj claimed that intermittent work a month ago have been unjustified and that the Serbian side is irresponsible.
He even said that if Kosovo side would not react in this way, the work probably will not even resume this week.
“If we had not reacted by calling urgently working group, add-hoc, just for this issue, of course, that this week would be wasted. So now finally we have confirmation that the proceedings resumes on Thursday at the site of suspected mass grave on location listed as number 3, as the number 1 and 2 are evaluated, “said Gjetaj./Prizren Post/
