Israel has launched new airstrikes and drone strikes in the Gaza Strip as tensions continue despite a ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian movement Hamas.<\/p>\n
Medical sources at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported four dead and several wounded after an Israeli attack on a police post in the al-Mawasi area. According to them, some of the injured are in critical condition.<\/p>\n
In the central part of Gaza, two more Palestinians were killed and several others were injured by a drone attack that hit a police post at the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp. It is also reported that a civilian was shot dead in Beit Lahia.<\/p>\n
Hamas condemned the attacks, describing them as the minimum efforts of mediators during the phase of the ceasefire, which it claims has been violated almost every day since October 10.<\/p>\n
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in a statement that Israel is continuing its “war of extermination” against the Palestinian people. He called the latest escalation a “serious and flagrant violation” and added that the declarations of the guarantor states for the cessation of war “have no real content on the ground”.<\/p>\n
There was no immediate reaction from the Israeli authorities regarding the reports of casualties. The situation in Gaza remains tense, while efforts to maintain the ceasefire face ongoing challenges. \/message<\/p>\n
