The Anti-Smuggling Units of the Kosovo Customs, after receiving the authorization to take action from the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina, have today carried out an inspection in the garage of a house in Pristina.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement of the Customs, during the inspection, 44 packs of cigarettes without banners, which are suspected to have been smuggled into Kosovo, were found and seized.<\/p>\n

Further, the announcement states that the total value of these cigarettes is estimated to be around 15,000 euros, while the evasions from the payment of taxes and customs duties are calculated to be over 30,000 euros, reports Klankosova.tv.<\/p>\n

“By order of the Custodial Prosecutor, the suspect – at the same time the owner of the goods – has been interviewed regarding the circumstances of the case, while the found goods have been confiscated”.<\/p>\n
