Adam Sandler has been named Hollywood’s highest-paid actor for 2025, according to a new Forbes list.<\/p>\n
The 59-year-old comedian earned an estimated $48 million last year, starring in and producing Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to the 1996 comedy, and also appearing in Jay Kelly with George Clooney.<\/p>\n
Despite topping the list, his earnings were significantly lower than last year’s champion, Dwayne Johnson, who had reached $88 million in 2024. In second place on the list for 2025 is Tom Cruise with $46 million, thanks mainly to the movie “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.<\/p>\n
Mark Wahlberg is third with $44 million, followed by Scarlett Johansson with $43 million and Brad Pitt with $41 million. Wahlberg earned most of his income from The Family Plan and Play Dirty, while Johansson starred in Jurassic World: Rebirth and The Phoenecian Scheme, while also making her directorial debut with Eleanor the Great. Brad Pitt appeared in the film “F1”, which was nominated for Best Picture at the 2026 Academy Awards.<\/p>\n
The top ten are completed by Denzel Washington with $38 million, Jack Black with $28 million, Jason Momoa with $28 million, Daniel Craig with $27 million and Millie Bobby Brown with $26 million.<\/p>\n
Millie Bobby Brown even became the youngest actress to ever entered Forbes’ list of highest-paid actresses, only at the age of 22. In addition to the last season of Stranger Things, she also starred in The Electric State alongside Chris Pratt.<\/p>\n
According to Forbes, the 20 highest-paid actors in Hollywood earned a combined $590 million, down about 20% from $730 million in 2024.<\/p>\n
