A person was arrested in yesterday’s action against extortion in Prizren, which was carried out by the Directorate against Organized Crime of the Kosovo Police and the Basic Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

The same person is known to the justice authorities, as he has a criminal past.<\/p>\n

Egzon Reshani was involved a few months ago in a case of exchange of fire, where two people were injured.<\/p>\n

Reshani was detained for 48 hours until his the request from the prosecuting authority to determine the measure of detention is also expected.<\/p>\n

“We are within the legal deadline. When we make the request, you will be notified in time”, the spokeswoman of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Prizren, Fitore Mehmeti-Sejrani, declared for Klankosova.tv.<\/p>\n

Four other suspects are still being sought: B.K., GJ.K., E.K., E.K, who are suspected of the criminal offences: “Usury”, “Unlawful deprivation of liberty” and “Coercion”, provided for in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
