{"id":2969,"date":"2016-03-16T16:09:23","date_gmt":"2016-03-16T15:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/?p=2969"},"modified":"2016-03-16T17:09:36","modified_gmt":"2016-03-16T16:09:36","slug":"usa-will-deny-visas-to-albanian-corrupt-officials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/usa-will-deny-visas-to-albanian-corrupt-officials\/","title":{"rendered":"USA will deny visas to Albanian corrupt officials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/1280px-Flag_of_Albania.png\" alt=\"1280px-Flag_of_Albania\" width=\"100%\" height=\"\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1395\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The head of the US Office for Central and Southern European Affairs, Thomas Yazdgerdi says that every Albanian official who wants to enter the US, may be denied his visa if he\u2019s involved in corruption.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Mr. Yazdgerdi\u2019s declaration comes a few days after the US ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu declared that several Albanian judges against whom there are corruption allegations, were refused their US visa.<\/p>\n<p>Yazdgerdi said that in the USA, such practice is legally based on presidential decrees and recently, it has also been applied in the case of several judges in Albania. \u201cIn the case of the judges, they were denied visas and the basis for this denial was corruption\u201d, said the senior US official.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery official that seeks an American visa, may be subject of decrees.
