Orthodox believers in North Macedonia today celebrate Orthodox Easter, one of the most important holidays of the Christian calendar, reports Anadolu.<\/p>\n

In the Cathedral “St. Klimenti Ohrid” in Skopje, the solemn liturgy of the Resurrection of Christ – Easter, which is the climax of the celebrations, was held last night.<\/p>\n

The liturgical service was led by the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, g.g. Stefan, in an atmosphere filled with believers.<\/p>\n

In the cathedral and other temples in the country, prayers and religious services were organized, while many citizens participated in family Easter celebrations.<\/p>\n

Today during the day, believers are continuing their visits to churches, celebrating with their families.<\/p>\n

Orthodox Easter marks the resurrection of Christ and is considered the most important holiday for the Orthodox community.<\/p>\n
