The executive has approved the proposal-decision for the amendment and completion of the decision for the appointment of the Board of Directors of the Central Public Enterprise Telekom i Kosova, also the proposal for the establishment of new institutional bodies aimed at accelerating the process of the country’s membership in the Union has been approved. Approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the EFTA States. This bill aims to ratify the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland). The agreement creates a free trade area in accordance with Article XXIV of the GATT 1994 and Article V of the GATS, liberalizing trade in goods and services and improving market access for investments.<\/p>\n
Approved the Draft Law to amend and supplement the Laws related to the Rationalization and Establishment of Accountability Lines of Executive Agencies. One of the priorities of the Government of Kosovo is for the state of Kosovo to have a good regulation in the field of public administration reform, and this regulation will be achieved through this Draft Law. Among the countries of the region which are evaluated for the progress in the Public Administration Reform (RAP) through the annual report by the European Commission, Kosovo is the country with the largest number of agencies, and agencies that report to the Assembly.<\/p>\n
Approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of Additional Protocol 6 on Trade in Services to the Agreement on the Amendment and Acceptance of the Central European Free Trade Agreement, which aims at the progressive liberalization of trade in services between contracting parties. This Protocol was negotiated within the framework of the CEFTA Agreement and defines rules for market access, national treatment, transparency and the elimination of regulatory barriers for various service sectors in accordance with the principles of the World Trade Organization (GATS).<\/p>\n
Approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of Additional Protocol 5 of the Agreement on Accession and Amendment of the Central European Free Trade Agreement. This protocol aims to simplify inspections, reduce import-export formalities, electronic data exchange, mutual recognition of laboratory tests and the program of Authorized Economic Operators, effective implementation of risk control. This protocol extends its effects to all other agencies operating at the border and this is the essential added value of this protocol, which is based on the philosophy of trade facilitation adopted by all WTO member countries in the Trade Facilitation Agreement.<\/p>\n
Approved the Draft Law for the Ratification of Additional Protocol 7 on the Settlement of Disputes, of the Agreement on Amendment and Accession to the Agreement of Central European Free Trade. This Protocol aims to enable the CEFTA Parties to create a more structured approach to consultation, mediation and dispute resolution within CEFTA.<\/p>\n
The Draft Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurship was approved. The purpose of this draft law is to define the principles, rules, organization and institutional mechanisms for the support, promotion and encouragement of innovative and entrepreneurial activities, with the aim of accelerating sustainable economic, social and environmental development in the Republic of Kosovo. 09\/ 2019 for the Integration of Foreigners. The main issue addressed in this draft regulation is the improvement and completion of the existing framework for the integration of foreigners in the Republic of Kosovo, through the amendment and completion of Regulation (QRK) No. 09\/2019. Approved the decision to amend and complete the Government Decision on the appointment of the Board of Directors of the Central Public Enterprise “Telecom of Kosovo” Sh. A., through which the chairman is elected, Shaban Neziri.<\/p>\n
Allocated financial resources in the amount of 20,721.00 (twenty thousand seven hundred and twenty one) euros, for the fulfillment of the annual contribution of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the year 2026, to the Regional Center of the Regional Initiative for Migration, Asylum and Refugees, based in Skopje.<\/p>\n
Approved the decision on the proposal of Narcotics Commission for changing and supplementing the tables from paragraph 2, article 10 of Law no. 02\/L-128 for Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors, based on the mechanisms for replacement and completion, determined by the international conventions for the control of narcotics. <\/p>\n
Allocate financial resources in the amount of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) euros for the organization and implementation of the Country Partner Package (Country Partner Package) within the two-day congress Future Industry Minds 2026, which will to be held on May 11-12, 2026, at the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg, in Germany.<\/p>\n
Approved the request for the approval of the lease for the kiosk space, which is located within the Hani i Elezit Customs Terminal, Hani i Elezit Municipality, as requested by the Kosovo Customs\/Ministry of Finance, for a duration of 36 months for the development of economic activity in the field of gastronomy.<\/p>\n
Approved the request for the approval of the lease for the restaurant space with an area of 265 square meters, which is located within the Hani i Elezit Customs Terminal, Hani i Elezit Municipality, as requested by the Kosovo Customs\/Ministry of Finance, for a duration of 36 months for the development of economic activity in the field of gastronomy.<\/p>\n
