The announcement of the verdict for the “Banjska” case will take place on April 24, at 15:00, at the Basic Court in Pristina.<\/p>\n
This decision was announced during the hearing where the final words of the defense of the accused, Vladimir Tolliq, Bllagoje Spasojevic and Dushan Maksimovic, were presented for the terrorist attack in Banjska of Zve\u00e7an on September 24. 2023.<\/p>\n
Except for Dushan Maksimovi\u0107, the other accused in this case have stated that they do not want to participate in the hearing of the announcement of the verdict.<\/p>\n
Before the jury, the accused Dushan Maksimovi\u0107 tried to absolve himself of the crimes he is accused of.<\/p>\n
“We have received answers regarding the photographs, for which I have said that I have never seen those photographs before. It is normal that I have not seen where all the photos from the two phones that are registered with the same name, as my lawyer SMA 127F, are included as if they are mine. Let him be in his conscience. He will try not to reveal the investigation, and I believe that the prosecutor Admir Shala will forgive me. I will only say that he leads the case barricades from December 2022, but all the photographs from this indictment on page 132 and 133 are part of his case. The opinion is that you should have known this,” he said. The defense of the accused, Dushan Filipovi\u0107, requested an acquittal. “Dushan Maksimovi\u0107 was not in Banjska on the critical day the incident which happened in the armed uprising, in which it is related to this indictment. Dushan was together with his friends several times. And in these circumstances, his friends who were with him wanted to give him an alibi. So, his friends have been proposed to be witnesses since June 2025. so”, she said.<\/p>\n
The closing statements of the other two accused and their defenders were also presented in court today.<\/p>\n
From the terrorist attack of September 2023, the 50-year-old sergeant from Vushtrri, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed, while the police official Alban Rashiti was injured and \u00c7lirim Shaqiri, Mirsad Kryeziu and Sedat Dushi were injured.<\/p>\n
Ready a year after the attack, on September 11, the Special Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment, where among the main accused is Milan Radoicic, as the leader of the group.<\/p>\n
According to the indictment, they have committed the criminal offense of “committing a terrorist offense” and the criminal offense of “serious offenses against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”. Some of them are also accused of financing the group, money laundering.<\/p>\n
Vladimir Tolliq, Bllagoje Spasojevic and Dushan Maksimovic are being tried in this case. All three accused have denied the charges before the court.<\/p>\n
Last week, Stefan Radulovi\u0107 was arrested, suspected of the terrorist attack in Banjska i Zve\u00e7ani.<\/p>\n
Serbia still has not handed over the criminals of Banjska, despite the constant requests of the local authorities and some international allies.<\/p>\n
