(these are opened by hand on the table or with noodles).

After being opened, the noodles are left to dry a little, then cut into sizes slightly larger than the size of the pan.

The pan is coated with a little oil. We add half the amount of noodles, on which the filling from the sponge dough with nuts and cocoa is poured.

Turn the sides of the noodles, spread the other noodles by sprinkling them with fat (the sides of the noodles are wrapped from the inside).

The filling is prepared in this way: In a container, but not aluminum, beat the egg whites with a wire until it becomes a puffy mass and stable.

On the other hand, beat the egg yolks mixed with sugar, leaving a little on the side of the stove, until this also becomes a puffy mass.

Meanwhile, combine the egg whites with the yolks, mixing them carefully.

A little of the flour mixed with nuts and cocoa is thrown in, mixed carefully so that the dough does not fall, and thrown into the pan.

Kompekai bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at a medium temperature. After it is baked, it is cooled and hot syrup is poured over it./

We use cookies to improve the experience and to display ads (Google AdSense).
By clicking “Accept”, you agree to the use of cookies according to
Privacy Policy
and
Cookies Policy.
You can reject non-necessary cookies by clicking “Reject”.

Source: prizrenpost

It is one of the most wonderful Albanian delicacies.
