Emergency services remained on standby as assessments continued.<\/p>\n<p>NORSAR initially rated the earthquake at magnitude 3.3 before revising it upwards. The agency said the last strongest earthquake in the region occurred in 2004.<\/p>\n<p>Although widely felt, this was not unprecedented.
