Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem today reiterated his “categorical rejection” of direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, presenting 5 points for resolving the current conflict, reports Anadolu.<\/p>\n

Qassem said in a statement that his group “categorically rejects” direct negotiations with Israel, reiterating that Hezbollah will continue its “defensive resistance” and will not give up its weapons. his.<\/p>\n

He criticized the holding of two rounds of direct talks between Lebanon and Israel for the first time in 43 years, which took place in Washington a few days ago under the sponsorship of the US. “In this atmosphere of sacrifice and dignity and defeating the enemy, the (Lebanese) authority rushed into a humiliating and unnecessary concession, the justification of which is submission,” Qassem asserted.
