Two doctors from the Vushtrri Hospital, Ekrem Sefiu and Valdet Rexhepi, have ended up in police custody, under suspicion of accepting bribes, asking for and accepting money from citizens for the provision of health services.<\/p>\n
For this criminal offense, punishable by imprisonment, the two suspected surgeons may end up in custody.<\/p>\n
However, one of them does not have it for once first.<\/p>\n
Ekrem Sefiu was also handcuffed in 2023 for the same crime and an indictment was then filed against him, reports klankosova.tv<\/p>\n
For this matter, the case is still in the proceedings, in the Basic Court in Mitrovica, while the same one got into trouble with the law again.<\/p>\n
This for Klankosova.tv was also confirmed by the Court, where it was announced that the Appeal had returned the case to reinstatement.<\/p>\n
“The case against the defendant E.S. currently continues to be in proceedings at the Basic Court in Mitrovica – Department for Serious Crimes. After its return to reinstatement by the Court of Appeal of Kosovo, the criminal case is in the phase of rebuttal of the evidence.” \u2013 says the answer to Clan.<\/p>\n
