“We both believe that the China-US relationship is the most important bilateral relationship in the world. We must make it work and never destroy it,” Xi stressed.<\/p>\n
Trump is on a three-day state visit to China, the first by a sitting US president in nine years. Xi and Trump held a bilateral summit earlier in the day, which the White House described as a “good meeting”.<\/p>\n
