After the October 7 report, ex-soldiers, spreaders of fake news and a network of pro-Israeli financiers are hiding
\nOn May 11, New York Times analyst Nicholas Kristof published a journalistic investigation into the Israeli military’s (IDF) systematic sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners, based on UN reports and survivor testimony.<\/p>\n
Just one day later, on May 12, major Western media such as CNN, BBC, and AP rushed to reprint another report titled “Silenced No More,” published by The Civilian Commission on the Crimes of October 7.<\/p>\n
This report was described as the “essential file” of sexual violence by Hamas. But a careful reading reveals that his materials are not verifiable and are the product of a pure propaganda operation.<\/p>\n
The Associated Press and the New York Times acknowledged that much of the archive remains classified. The international public is being asked to believe the report, i.e. access to the evidence.<\/p>\n
But the biggest problem lies in the people who drafted this file: a group of figures openly politically and ideologically connected to the Israeli government.<\/p>\n
The central figure is Sharon Rapaport-Palgi, the main documenter of the report. Her activities on the X network prove that she does not keep a professional distance, but spreads official IDF messages and claims that the Israeli army protects civilians more than any army in history.<\/p>\n
She has reinforced propaganda against the agency UNRWA and distributed videos that describe Palestinian children as “future terrorists”. By any kind of international investigative standard, this ideological exposure destroys her impartiality.<\/p>\n
Part of the research team is Orna Weinstein, who in her public profiles describes herself as a \u201cformer IDF soldier,\u201d which constitutes an open conflict of interest for a supposedly neutral file.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the lead contributor, Canadian lawyer Irwin Cotler, is known for consistently defending the policies of Israel, challenging the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court over the Palestinian territories.<\/p>\n
At the head of the Civil Commission is Cochav Elkayam-Levy, a figure of previous scandals. Israeli government officials themselves distanced themselves from her work due to “methodological inaccuracies”.<\/p>\n
She helped spread the false story that Palestinian fighters had “ripped out a pregnant woman’s belly” and used a photo of a Kurdish fighter dead for years, presenting her as a victim of October 7.<\/p>\n
Although the authors claim to have analyzed over 1,800 hours of material, the report it does not provide a clear list of victims and does not determine the number of verified cases. In addition, he cites members of the organization ZAKA, which spread the infamous “40 children with severed heads” hoax.<\/p>\n
Finally, the network of funders of the report includes the Jewish Federations of North America, the Schusterman Philanthropies and pro-Israel foundations.<\/p>\n
This proves that the dossier is not an independent investigation, but a product designed within a political and financial ecosystem that aims to protect of Israel’s image through war propaganda. square<\/p>\n
