Amid high temperatures, thousands of Muslims are performing the Hajj ritual in Mecca, where impressive views come from the Kaaba, the physical point of gravity of the earth, as well as the place where human life is thought to have started. Spiritually, it is the most sublime place in the world, where man feels like nowhere else on the planet the closeness to his Creator and everything.<\/p>\n
The Hajj is the greatest religious pilgrimage in the world and is obligatory for every Muslim believer at least once in his life, provided he has the financial means to do so and has provided sufficient supplies for his family during the absence.<\/p>\n
Aerial videos have captured thousands pilgrims moving in circles around the Kaaba at Mecca’s Grand Mosque, and the sights are extremely impressive.<\/p>\n
Soaring temperatures, expected to reach 48 degrees Celsius, and heightened tension in the Middle East following recent conflicts involving Iran, Israel and the United States have raised concerns about holding this year’s Hajj.<\/p>\n
But despite all the concerns, Muslims from around the world have traveled to Saudi Arabia to be there and fulfill this great religious obligation.<\/p>\n
The Hajj is one of the five main pillars of Islam and for many Muslims it is a unique life experience.<\/p>\n
The next big Hajj gathering is expected to be on the day of Kurban Bayram in Arafat, a little away from the Kaaba, exactly where human life is thought to have begun with the first man, Adam, at the same time the first prophet, followed by the wife of his, Hawaii.<\/p>\n
