Albanian political parties in Montenegro are preparing for a formal merger into a single political entity, the Albanian Forum, aiming to create for the first time a unified political organization of Albanians at the state level, reports Anadolu.<\/p>\n

Referring to unofficial sources, Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) reported that the agreement envisages the merger of the Albanian Alternative, the Democratic League of Albanians and the National Union. Albanian.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the decision to merge comes after the political success achieved through joint action, including absolute power in the municipality of Tuzi, the record result at the state level with two mandates of deputies and two positions in the Government of Montenegro, as well as the evaluated results of the ministers and representatives of the Forum in the executive power.<\/p>\n

Sources close to the negotiations said that an additional impetus for the full merger came after recent public opinion polls, which showed a significant increase in support for the Forum even in Ulcinj, where it has become one of the most powerful Albanian political options.<\/p>\n

According to the same sources, one of the main political objectives of the Forum is to take over the management of the municipality of Ulcinj after the next elections.<\/p>\n

RTCG also reported that it is “almost certain” that the leader of the united organization will be Nik Gjeloshaj, while they have made an important contribution to the merger process. also Ivan Ivanaj and Ferhat Dinosha.<\/p>\n

Interlocutors involved in the process evaluated this development as the greatest political consolidation of the Albanian factor in Montenegro since the restoration of the country’s independence.<\/p>\n
