A 37-year-old man was left dead and another was injured as a result of a knife attack that took place on Tuesday evening in South Mitrovica.<\/p>\n

The Kosovo Police announced that they were informed about the case by the Regional Hospital of South Mitrovica, where the victim was sent.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the death of the victim was ascertained by the doctor in charge, as he was unable to reach them. survive his injuries.<\/p>\n

The police say that in the same incident another person was injured, who after receiving first aid in the Mitrovica emergency room, was transferred for further treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. According to the medical staff, his health condition is stable and out of danger.<\/p>\n

The police immediately went to the scene and conducted investigative actions regarding the case.<\/p>\n

“By order of the prosecutor for serious crimes, the dead body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina for an autopsy,” the announcement states.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the main suspect, a 31-year-old man, was arrested, to whom the prosecutor assigned the measure of detention for 48 hours. The authorities have also seized the knife that is suspected to have been used in the crime.<\/p>\n

However, the Police say that investigations to fully clarify the case are ongoing.<\/p>\n
