U.d. The President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, hosted the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Ferit Hoxha.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Haxhiu appreciated his role in the international representation of Albania and wished him success in his new task.<\/p>\n

“You were the voice of Kosovo when Kosovo had no voice”, said Haxhiu. foreign policy and the implementation of agreements signed between the two countries.<\/p>\n

U.d. The President emphasized the importance of the historical, linguistic and national proximity between the two countries, describing it as a strong basis for deepening institutional cooperation and projects that serve the citizens.<\/p>\n

“Part of the discussion was also devoted to Kosovo’s European and Euro-Atlantic path. Haxhiu asked for the continuation of Albania’s support for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe, receiving the European Union’s questionnaire, as well as further rapprochement with NATO and the Partnership for Peace”, the announcement states.<\/p>\n

Finally, the need for close coordination between the two countries in international forums was emphasized, with the aim of strengthening Kosovo’s position and common interests in the region and Europe.<\/p>\n
