{"id":39927,"date":"2026-06-01T09:22:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T07:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/in-a-house-in-viti-there-are-goods-smuggled-from-north-macedonia\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T09:22:35","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T07:22:35","slug":"in-a-house-in-viti-there-are-goods-smuggled-from-north-macedonia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/in-a-house-in-viti-there-are-goods-smuggled-from-north-macedonia\/","title":{"rendered":"In a house in Viti there are goods smuggled from North Macedonia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/3.jpg\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto;margin-bottom:20px\"><\/p>\n<p>The Kosovo Police has announced that it has prevented a case of smuggling of goods.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement, after receiving information that goods smuggled from the Republic of North Macedonia to the Republic of Kosovo were stored in an uninhabited house in the municipality of Vitia, on Sunday it undertook operational and investigative actions.<\/p>\n<p>Based on these actions, according to the law enforcement forces, they resulted in the discovery and seizure of a significant amount of smuggled goods.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Regarding the case, the relevant police units have identified the uninhabited house which was allegedly used for hiding and storing smuggled goods, which are suspected to have entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo through illegal routes from North Macedonia,&#8221; the announcement states.<\/p>\n<p>After checking the object, the identified goods were seized.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Processed tobacco, ready for market, weighing about 300 kg.
