The Acting Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rashiq, has stated that he has informed the diplomatic corps in Kosovo about the pressure that, according to him, is being exerted on Serbs who do not support the Serbian List.<\/p>\n
In the “Confrontation Podcast” on Telegrafi.com, Rashiq said that after the cases of dismissals and pressures on Serbian citizens from his own party, he has sent information to the diplomatic missions in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
He said that he has informed the embassies about what is happening on the ground, including, as he said, repression against citizens, dismissals from work and political pressure during the election campaign.<\/p>\n
“I informed all of this to the diplomatic corps. I wrote two pages to inform them as accurately as possible about what is happening,” said Rashi\u0107, Telegrafi writes.<\/p>\n
According to him, in the communication addressed to the diplomats, he requested that any form of of discrimination and pressure on Serbian citizens.<\/p>\n
“I asked you to keep in mind that this is unacceptable in the modern world. I believe that you, like us, believe in European democratic values for free elections”, he declared.<\/p>\n
Rashiq said that, despite the alarm, there was no response from the embassies.<\/p>\n
“No embassy has responded to me, except for one, the embassy of Montenegro, confirmation of the email. No one has responded,” he said.<\/p>\n
He added that after continuing the pressure, he sent another shorter letter, where he requested the stop and punishment of this form of discrimination.<\/p>\n
“I begged for this form of discrimination to stop, because it is really too much. I have not had any response,” said Rashiq. “It’s not only disturbing to me, but also disappointing. I believe in European, human and democratic values, but not having any response to this email is depressing,” declared Rashiq.<\/p>\n
