{"id":40239,"date":"2026-06-02T16:45:42","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T14:45:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/the-prosecutors-office-and-the-police-warn-of-measures-against-the-publication-of-the-vote-on-social-networks\/"},"modified":"2026-06-02T16:45:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T14:45:55","slug":"the-prosecutors-office-and-the-police-warn-of-measures-against-the-publication-of-the-vote-on-social-networks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/the-prosecutors-office-and-the-police-warn-of-measures-against-the-publication-of-the-vote-on-social-networks\/","title":{"rendered":"The Prosecutor&#8217;s Office and the Police warn of measures against the publication of the vote on social networks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/prizrenpost.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/prizrenpost-og-10.png\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto;margin-bottom:20px\"><\/p>\n<p>The State Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police have intensified cooperation to guarantee a regular election process, warning of measures against cases of vote publication by citizens, especially during postal voting.<\/p>\n<p>In a working meeting held in Pristina, the national coordinator for elections, Laura Pula, together with the manager of the strategic project &#8220;Vote Protection&#8221;, Besim Kusari, received the Deputy Director General of the Kosovo Police, Fehmi Hoti, as and other police representatives.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the coordination of activities between the State Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police was discussed, with a focus on preserving the integrity of the electoral process and responding to any possible irregularities.<\/p>\n<p>Pula announced that the supervisory teams of prosecutors and officials of the prosecutorial system have already been appointed, which will be ready to deal with any violations that may occur during the electoral process.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the colonel Fehmi Hoti emphasized that the Kosovo Police has also engaged special security teams, which will take care of the security and smooth running of the voting process in all its phases.<\/p>\n<p>The institutions announced that they have received information that some citizens, mainly from the diaspora, have photographed or recorded their vote during postal voting and then published it on social networks.
