X.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis violates the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, hinders ongoing direct talks, worsens the humanitarian crisis and undermines international efforts to consolidate the ceasefire,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Albares called on all parties to fully implement the ceasefire agreement reached on April 16.<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish top diplomat reiterated Madrid&#8217;s support for international de-escalation efforts and for the Lebanese government&#8217;s efforts to strengthened state authority throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpain supports international de-escalation initiatives and the Lebanese government in its efforts to restore the state&#8217;s monopoly on the use of force throughout the country,\u201d Albares said.<\/p>\n<p>Israel has continued its attacks on Lebanon since early March, shortly after Hezbollah&#8217;s retaliation against Iran&#8217;s war, despite a US-brokered ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently ordered troops to strike targets in Beirut, but was stopped by US President Donald Trump on Monday as Tehran threatened to pull out of negotiations aimed at ending Iran&#8217;s war.
