In a response to Klankosova.tv, this institution announced that the recommendation for suspension was submitted about ten days ago, while the decision was implemented by the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha.<\/p>\n
Further in the response, it is announced that the measure was undertaken in the context of an investigation related to a police report from 2025 in Skenderaj. The IPK said that the investigations are focusing on contradictory statements given in this case.<\/p>\n
“Referring to your request, the IPK confirms that in the interest of the investigation it has recommended the suspension of the police officer and the same based on the recommendation of the IPK has been suspended by the General Director of the Kosovo Police. The recommendation for suspension was submitted by the IPK to the KP 10 days ago. The investigation is underway regarding the contradictory statements regarding the case of 2025”, says the response of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo to Klankosova.tv.<\/p>\n

Klankosova.tv learns that the suspension of the police officer was made due to the change of his statement to the Police for a case that happened in Skenderaj in 2025, when Albin Kurti’s escort, during the election campaign, complained that the mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku, had intended to hit his escort with an official car.<\/p>\n
The policeman who had reported the case, that day said that the escort was endangered, while the next day, in his written statement to the Police, he said that he had not endangered the escort.<\/p>\n
