Brazilian striker Neymar has said he feels “like a child” ahead of his fourth and final World Cup, although his presence at the tournament remains uncertain due to an injury to his right calf.<\/p>\n
He made the comments in a Brazilian documentary series.<\/p>\n
“Even though this is my fourth World Cup, it feels different because of everything it involves and, of course, it is the last one”, explains Neymar in a fragment of the documentary “Vai, Brasil”.<\/p>\n
“I am here as a child, as an 18-year-old going to his first World Cup”, the Santos footballer emphasizes in the documentary.<\/p>\n
At the age of 34, Neymar continues his muscular recovery, just a few days before Brazil’s first match against Morocco in Group 3 of the tournament that takes place in New Jersey.<\/p>\n
According to the Federation Brazil’s all-time leading scorer has shown improvement from the injury sustained on May 17 but has yet to train with the team.<\/p>\n
Due to a lack of game pace, his absence in the challenge against Morocco is considered certain, while he could make his debut in the second leg against Haiti on June 19.<\/p>\n
