Janina Ymeri, candidate for deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, at EURO in T7 also spoke about the ongoing rejection of the American gas project by the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.<\/p>\n
According to her, neither Kurti nor Minister Artane Rizvanolli give reasons why they are rejecting the American gas project, even after the last call of the American Embassy in Pristina.<\/p>\n
“They are not themselves either. knowing what they are saying yes and no. Also, the justifications do not make sense. They say that they will do the gasification project, while there is no feasibility study for the coal gasification from Kosovo, and even less when the coal extraction is a problem and in the official reports, it is either an indescribable coincidence, or the refusal of the gas American, both as a review and as a current project”, Ymeri said.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Janina Ymeri called on the American Embassy in Pristina not to talk about this project only with a few people who have positions and who are not credible, because they entered WhatsApp groups for tenders, but that this very important debate for the economy and security of the country should be moved to a parliamentary debate, so as not to leave room for propaganda, since the gas we are talking about it is not Russian, but American.<\/p>\n
“The parliamentary debate is very necessary to avoid any influence of propaganda and for the American Embassy to inform us about this very important project for the country, as well as to inform us what we, the other camp, can do that sees this project as very important for the country. This same government in 2021 rejected the American gas project. Neither then nor today is the time nor the moment to reject a project that has a for ten years, we can say no to many laws, but before that, we should not let one person decide on this project. Who is Artane Rizvanolli, who said no to the WhatsApp tenders? Even Kurti himself used to say that the state is not subject to him, and why should we submit to him?” Ymeri.<\/p>\n
