The Kosovo police have arrested a person suspected of the criminal offense of “serious theft”, after a several-day investigation related to a case that happened in Suharek\u00eb.<\/p>\n

According to the police, the incident happened on June 11, around 02:20, at the entrance of a market on “Brigada 123” street. The complainant had reported that he was attacked by two unknown persons, one of whom grabbed him by the arm, while the other took 200 euros from his pocket.<\/p>\n

After the incident, both suspects left the scene, reports Klankosova.tv.<\/p>\n

After intensive investigative actions, on June 15, the police managed to identify and arrest the suspect R.K., 27 years old from the village of T\u00ebrne i Suhareka.<\/p>\n

“He was interviewed in the presence of the defense lawyer, while the responsible prosecutor, after reviewing the evidence and testimonies, decided that the case should be reclassified as “aggravated theft”. The suspect was detained for 48 hours. This case shows the dedication of the police in solving criminal offenses and bringing the perpetrators to justice. This remains an example of the ongoing work of the police that often takes place away from the public eye, but with a direct impact on citizens’ safety”, says PK.\/Klankosova.tv<\/p>\n
