PRIZREN: What is happening with FC Liria? This is the question that weighs on every football fan in Prizren today. In addition to the fact that the team failed to return to the elite of Kosovar football, being eliminated in the first match of the draw by Dinamo, the crisis in the whites is already deepening to alarming proportions, writes Gazeta e Prizren.<\/p>\n
According to the reports of the AL News portal, of the four shareholders the club had until now, only one remains at its head. Three of them have unconditionally given up their shares, handing them over to the sole shareholder, Arb\u00ebr Basha.<\/p>\n
While the other clubs of the First League and the Super League have started on time the reorganization and plans for the new edition 2026\/27, silence reigns at Liria. There is no movement or announcement on the club’s official website, while disturbing information is being served to the public opinion only through peripheral media.<\/p>\n
What is clearly seen on the ground is the mass flight of key players, who are finding engagements in other clubs due to poverty in Prizren. According to the information, the following have already said goodbye to the club: Silvio Zogaj, Mateo Qarri, Kambato, Solomon and others who were not from Prizren. They are heading towards Albania. The goalkeeper Bislimi has also left.<\/p>\n
After the departure of the three shareholders, the question is: What is Arb\u00ebr Basha doing? Is he also “surrendering” before this crisis, or is he waiting for a “miracle from heaven” to save the club?<\/p>\n
In all this whirlwind, what raises big questions is the silence of the municipal officials of Prizren. The public remembers well the time when the municipal officials did not hesitate to be photographed in the days of the successes of Liberty, even promising to go to Europe. This was until they privatized it and already letting this emblem of the city slip towards “hell”.<\/p>\n
The message is clear: Despite the fact that the legal status of KF Lirisa is private today, for the city of Prizren, the interest of this club will always remain public.<\/p>\n
