The police of Tirana have arrested 19 people and prosecuted 12 others after the incidents recorded during the protest that took place the day before in front of the Parliament.<\/p>\n
According to the police, the arrested are accused of opposing and hitting the law enforcement officers with hard objects, damaging a police vehicle, as well as attacking members of the Albanian Parliament during the rally.<\/p>\n
Among the arrested is citizen A. Ll., 35 years old, who allegedly hit a journalist during the protest.<\/p>\n
The authorities inform that 15 State Police employees were injured during the clashes, while a police vehicle was also damaged.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, 12 people have been prosecuted at large for their involvement in the event.<\/p>\n
The police announce that the work continues to identify six other people, who were documented with video footage committing violent actions during the protest.<\/p>\n
Procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offenses “Destruction of property”, “Resistance of a police officer”, “Assault due to duty”, “Disturbance of public order and peace”, “Organization and participation in illegal gatherings and demonstrations”, “Disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer” and “Obstruction of traffic” of means of transport”.<\/p>\n
They resisted and hit police officers with hard objects, damaged a police vehicle and attacked the members of the Albanian Parliament during the rally held yesterday, 19 citizens were arrested.<\/p>\n
The work continues to identify the other 6 citizens who were documented on film for violent actions.<\/p>\n

Following the procedural actions carried out by the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, in connection with the rally held yesterday near the Parliament, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:<\/p>\n
-B. K., 35 years old; A. E., 24 years old; G. P., 36 years old; D. B., 32 years old; K. P., 46 years old; R. D., 30 years old; A. Y., 40 years old; N. Q., 43 years old; Y. Sh., 52 years old; E. Gj., 39 years old; F. B., 56 years old; R. P., 35 years old; A. T., 34 years old; A. N., 35 years old; E. B., 45 years old; A.H., 35 years old; E. G., 23 years old, E. B., 20 years old.<\/p>\n
As well as the citizen A. Ll., 35 years old, after hitting a journalist.<\/p>\n
Also, the citizens: F. D., 63 years old; Sh. B., 33 years old; V. D., 29 years old; E. Gj., 38 years old; T. T., 43 years old; E. A., 31 years old; G. S., 20 years old; R. D., 30 years old; A. M., 39 years old; M. J., 47 years old, A. G., 47 years old and A. K., 22 years old.<\/p>\n
The investigative team continues the work to identify other citizens who may have committed illegal actions during the rally that took place yesterday.<\/p>\n
Procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Destruction of property”, “Opposition to a police officer”, “Assault due to duty”, “Disturbance of public order and peace”, “Organization and participation in illegal gatherings and demonstrations”, “Disobeying the lawful order of a police officer” and “Obstructing the circulation of transport vehicles”.<\/p>\n
