But the time you sleep is just as important as the sleep itself, writes EatingWell.<\/p>\n<p>According to sleep experts, the ideal time for a nap is between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. A nap of 10 to 30 minutes during this period helps the body recover without affecting the night&#8217;s sleep.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If I were to choose an ideal period, I would recommend the early afternoon.
