Through a public reaction, the Association for the Investigation of Abducted Persons “March 26, 1999” from Krusha e Vog\u00ebl demands a full investigation into the claims made public by Esat Shala and the bringing to justice of any person who may have been involved in war crimes, Gazeta e Prizren reports.<\/p>\n

The Association for the Investigation of Abducted Persons “March 26, 1999” – Krush\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl followed with concern the public statements made the day before by Mr. Esat Shala, who, through the presentation of a video, raised allegations about the presence in Prizren of a person of Turkish origin, with the surname Bushi, who was said to have acted together with the Serbian forces during the 1999 war, including Kru\u0161a e Vog\u00ebl. the worst massacres of the war in Kosovo, where 113 Albanian civilians were killed, while 60 of them are still missing. Their families continue to wait for justice and the truth about the fate of their loved ones.<\/p>\n

If the claims made public turn out to be well-founded, bringing this person before the justice bodies would be an important step not only for establishing justice for the victims, but also for clarifying the fate of the missing persons, through the information he may possess.<\/p>\n

The persons shown in the published video are not presented as participants in peaceful activities, but as individuals for whom serious claims related to war events have been raised. Therefore, we ask the competent authorities to treat these allegations seriously, to conduct a full and independent investigation into the role and possible responsibility of the mentioned person, as well as to undertake all the legal actions required by the case.<\/p>\n

War crimes do not have a statute of limitations. Any information that can help clarify the truth and bring those responsible to justice is a moral, legal and human obligation to the victims and their families.<\/p>\n
