FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Argentine Football Federation for a series of incidents recorded during the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n

The banner with the message “Las Malvinas son Argentinas”, unveiled by the Argentine footballers after the 2-1 victory over England in the semi-finals, is also in focus. The message is related to Argentina’s claim on the Falkland Islands, administered by the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
