The Special Prosecutor’s Office is expected to start excavations today in the mountainous area of the village of Kallud\u00ebr in Zubin Potok, where human remains were found two days ago.<\/p>\n

According to the suspicions so far, it is suspected that a mass grave with the bodies of many Albanian civilians killed during the war may be found in the area where the excavations will take place.<\/p>\n

Excavations in Zubin Potok, Kurti: We suspect that the remains may belong to the missing intellectuals of Mitrovica<\/p>\n

The biggest case is the disappearance without a trace of a group of 23 men, known as the Group of Intellectuals, most of them from Mitrovica.<\/p>\n

They were stopped on April 19 by Serbian forces in this area while they were leaving for Montenegro, and no trace of them was found.<\/p>\n
