The Basic Court in Prishtina, the Department for Serious Crimes has rejected the request of the Basic Prosecution in Pristina for the assignment of the detention measure in the criminal case against the defendants G.Z., A.G., L.M., D.G. and E.A., who are suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Misuse of official position or authority". at the police station. According to the Court, this measure will be calculated for the defendants until October 8, 2026. "The judge of the preliminary procedure after hearing the parties in the procedure and after analyzing the documents of the case, through the Decision, rejected the request of the Basic Prosecution in Pristina to assign the measure of detention as unfounded and against the defendants G.Z., A.G., L.M., D.G. and E.A., has set the measure Prohibition to be offered to the country or the specified person, which measure has been assigned to the defendants for a duration of 1 (one) month for each, counting from the date 08.09.2026 to the date 08.10.2026", the announcement states. The court announces that the five defendants are obligated not to offer the country – respectively the Municipality of Fush\u00eb-Kosovo. It states that non-compliance with this measure by the defendants will be replaced by the measure of detention. "The court has ordered the measure of appearance at the police station against the defendants G.Z., A.G., L.M., D.G. and E.A., which measure will be calculated for a duration of one (1) month, starting from 08.09.2026 until the date 08.10.2026. The court can set the measure of detention, if the defendants do not respect the imposed measure. On the occasion of the decision, the Court concluded that with the aforementioned measures for now it will be possible for the criminal procedure to take place without hindrance", says the announcement. Against this decision, the disgruntled parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal, through the Basic Court in Pristina.<\/p>\n
