For the second time on Friday, the continuation of the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo was interrupted. The LDK demanded that the deputy speaker of the Assembly be first elected from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, as the second parliamentary party, before proceeding. with LDK candidate. LDK deputy, Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, said that it is not right to switch to the candidate of the third party without first electing the vice president from the second party. "We call for exhausting all possibilities for discussion. We have no right to continue the session until the vice president of the second party is elected. The procedure must be respected. We have no right to move to the third group. We do not participate in the vote, nor do we recommend that you put it to the vote", she said. On the other hand, the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, insisted on continuing with the LDK's proposal, assessing that with her non-participation, the PDK is giving up its constitutional right to propose the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. This was the second time during Friday that the constitutive session was interrupted. In the previous session, the PDK had left the hall after the LVV deputies did not support its candidate for vice president, Vlora \u00c7itaku. This happened despite the fact that the PDK deputies had voted for the LVV candidate, Ardian Gola, who was elected deputy speaker of the Assembly.
