PDK has said that today in The Hague the right of our people who fought for freedom, survival and liberation from the Serbian state regime that killed, expelled and terrorized Kosovo Albanians was hit hard. because it relies on claims and materials that we consider fabricated and fed over the years by Serbia's state apparatus and propaganda to criminalize the just war of the Kosovo Liberation Army.“This judgment may have been written in The Hague. But the history of Kosovo is written here, with sacrifice, blood and the struggle for freedom. Our history is written by our people who fought for survival, by thousands of martyrs, by hundreds of thousands of citizens expelled from their homes and by a historic alliance with the democratic world that, in 1999, ended the repression and ethnic cleansing of the Serbian regime in Kosovo. The aggressor was Serbia. The victim was Kosovo. And the Kosovo Liberation Army was the answer of our people who wanted to live free. This can't be changed by any action. Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi did not go to The Hague fleeing from justice. They answered her voluntarily, in the belief that the truth would triumph. Therefore, today's decision is a serious blow to the KLA war, freedom, independence and the state of Kosovo”, reads the PDK communique. According to PDK, Kosovo citizens today feel hurt and disappointed by this unjust verdict. Further, PDK has said that it will oppose this verdict with arguments, with all democratic means and in every forum where the truth about the Kosovo war should be protected. and the people who led the war and the political processes that brought freedom and the state of Kosovo cannot be erased from history by a court decision. Today is a difficult day for Kazakhstan. But today, there is no end to the story or the struggle for truth. The Democratic Party of Kosovo will always stand in defense of the historical truth, the dignity of the liberation war and those who took upon themselves the burden of Kosovo's freedom. This judgment is not the last word. We will fight for justice to the end and for the truth we will never be silent. Our heroes of war and peace willnever be left alone. The battle continues, with them and for them, until their release, it is further stated in the communiqué.

Source: prizrenpost

The Democratic Party of Kosovo expresses its indignation, disappointment and opposition to today's verdict of the Special Court in The Hague against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
