The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has called the decision of the Special Court to sentence the four KLA members "terrible."\u201cWe consider it as a terrible judgment for Kosovo, for our people, for our liberation war. The people of Kosovo themselves have experienced the war and know what the Kosovo liberation war is and we know that there was no criminal mechanism to harm any population within the Army. It is a really sad, unjust, undeserved decision for the four leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. It is really something that will be very damaging for both our narrative and the state of Kosovo"Konjufca said that the sentence given to Hashim Tha\u00e7i, Jakupr Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi and Kadri Veseli are very high.\u201cWhen I remember that the indictment was in Serbia for 15 years, 15 years they were in Serbia, if Serbia arrested them and if their sentence came, 15 years if Serbia sentenced them in absentia, in the name of the people with these draconian punishments.
