The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, said today that the G7 countries will do everything they can to ensure that the newly announced US-Iran agreement is implemented and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, reports Anadolu.<\/p>\n
“We will do everything, first of all, to ensure that this agreement becomes a reality and therefore that Hormuz can be reopened peacefully and that traffic can resume,” Macron said on the TF1 broadcaster, while world leaders are arriving in Evian, France for a three-day summit of the G7 group.<\/p>\n
Welcoming the agreement reached after months of conflict in the region, he renewed the call that everything should be done to implement it.
