Temeli d\u00f6nemin Ba\u015fbakan\u0131 Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan ve bir\u00e7ok davetlinin kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 ile 29 May\u0131s 2013&#8217;te at\u0131lan Yavuz Sultan K\u00f6pr\u00fcs\u00fc, 26 A\u011fustos\u2019ta hizmete girecek.<\/p>\n<p>59 metrelik geni\u015fli\u011fi ile bitti\u011finde d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en geni\u015f k\u00f6pr\u00fcs\u00fc unvan\u0131n\u0131 alacak olan 3. K\u00f6pr\u00fc 8 \u015ferit karayolu 2 \u015ferit demiryolu olarak toplam 10 \u015feritten olu\u015facak. Deniz \u00fczerindeki uzunlu\u011fu 1408 metre toplam uzunlu\u011fu ise 2 bin 164 metre olan Yavuz Sultan Selim K\u00f6pr\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn toplam maliyeti ise 4,5 milyar lira. <\/p>\n<p>Yavuz Sultan Selim, kule y\u00fcksekli\u011fi ve ara a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fc\u011f\u00fc olacak. Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i ve Fatih Sultan Mehmet k\u00f6pr\u00fclerindeki trafi\u011fi hafifletmeyi hedefleyen proje, biri geli\u015f, di\u011feri gidi\u015f olmak \u00fczere iki katl\u0131 karayolu \u015feklinde in\u015fa edilecek.<\/p>\n<p>Bu y\u0131l\u0131n sonunda tamamlanmas\u0131 planlanan t\u00fcnelden sadece otomobil ve minib\u00fcsler ge\u00e7ebilecek. T\u00fcnelin Bo\u011faz ge\u00e7i\u015fi 5,4 km olacak ve iki yaka 106 metre derinde birle\u015ftirilecek. A\u00e7\u0131lan hatta 3&#8217;\u00fc yeralt\u0131nda olmak \u00fczere toplam 5 istasyon bulunuyor. \u0130stanbul&#8217;un Avrupa ve Asya yakalar\u0131ndaki demiryolu hatlar\u0131n\u0131 \u0130stanbul Bo\u011faz\u0131 alt\u0131ndan ge\u00e7en bir t\u00fcp t\u00fcnelle birle\u015ftiren Marmaray ile Halkal\u0131 ile Gebze aras\u0131nda 76 km\u2019lik mesafe  185 dakikadan 105 dakikaya d\u00fc\u015fecek.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ki k\u0131tay\u0131 Bo\u011faz alt\u0131ndan birle\u015ftirme projesi ilk olarak II. Abd\u00fclhamid d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f, projeyi Frans\u0131zlara 1892 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00e7izdirmi\u015fti. T\u00fcnel-i Bahri veya g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi ile Deniz T\u00fcneli ad\u0131 verilen projenin bug\u00fcn hizmetteki Marmaray gibi \u00dcsk\u00fcdar-Sirkeci aras\u0131na in\u015fa edilmesi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Bu projenin o d\u00f6nem neden rafa kald\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair kesin bir bilgi yok.
