7 arrested in police operation against usury

Peja – Kosova Police has launched an operation in the region of Dukagjin, in order to combat negative phenomena and offenses related to usury.

Kosova Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has told Kosovapress that 12 locations and 10 suspects are being searched in the operation.

“7 people have been arrested so far, while 3 others have not been found and are being hunted by police. During the operation, police has found and seized weapons and money as well as important documents that could be used for further legal proceedings,” said police spokesman.
